Eyonna serves as a Community Support Specialist in the Alachua, Florida community and has worked with The Bindu Institute since August of 2021.  She earned an associate degree at Valencia College and a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida.  She is currently working toward a master's degree in Social Work at North Central University.

 

She started out her career as an Adoption Intern at Devereux Florida gaining social work experience.  She then worked as a Caregiver at In Loving Arms in Gainsville, Florida.  In addition, she worked as a Day Treatment Counselor at Resolution Health Alliance.  Currently, she not only works as a CSS on The Bindu team but also is an Emergency Screener at Meridian Behavior Health.

The skills she has acquired through her education and work experience have helped her be a great communicator, active listener, and a very patient person.  She is able to think critically under pressure and she is mindful to be culturally competent.
