Gabe serves as a Community Support Specialist in the Orlando, Florida community and has worked with The Bindu Institute since June of 2021.  He has attended Rollins College and Valencia College previously but is currently working towards a bachelor's in Human Services at Southern New Hampshire University (to be completed by December of 2022).  His goal is to continue with graduate school spring of 2023 where he hopes to become a mental health counselor, specializing with working with individuals with brain injuries.

He worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for those living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), providing over 1000 hours of 1:1 interaction at Neurorestorative, an assisted living facility in Florida.  In addition, he worked at ABA Gulf Coast, where he assisted young children with autism with their daily living and social skills.  In addition to working at The Bindu Institute, he also currently works as a Mental Health Tech at La Amistad Behavioral Health Services.

Gabe's extensive experience working with those living with a TBI, providing services to over 30 clients in the past 2 1/2 years, gives him the necessary skills to assist Wounded Warriors in a similar capacity.  He prides himself on his active listening skills, understanding, and patience.  He highly values client autonomy and strives to increase confidence in one's skills to foster independence.

He enjoys daily exercise, reading, and exploring his culinary hobby.
