Kirsten Castinado, MS

Kirsten Castinado, MS, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, has a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University.
Kirsten has been working with adolescents dealing with a variety of issues for the past few years and helping them develop coping skills, communication skills, and resiliency.
Kirsten uses a client-centered approach and wants to build a collaborative relationship with her clients. She uses CBT, choice theory, motivational interviewing, and solution focused techniques to help clients process their feelings in a safe place where they can feel heard and validated. Kirsten is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
