Linda Harris, MS, Community Support Specialist in North Port, FL, started working with The Bindu Institute in July of 2024.  Linda is a graduate from the University of Ripon & York St John with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (York, England) and from the University of Chester with a master's in science in Trauma Therapy (Chester, England).  In addition, she is an accredited EMDR therapist, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Practitioner (MBSR).

 

Linda worked with the British military, and civilians both in the UK and across Germany, Belgium and Holland.   She specialized in working with serving military with PTSD and TBI injuries and has over 25 years clinical experience.  Prior to moving to Florida to join her husband (a veteran), she worked for a veteran agency in the UK, and introduced mindfulness training to veterans. 

 

Linda enjoys traveling, swimming, cycling and taking care of her Maltese/Shih Tzu pup!
