Sherman serves as a Community Support Specialist in the Fort Walton Beach, Florida community and has worked with The Bindu Institute since January of 2017.  He has attended Gulf Coast Community College and University of Maryland.  He currently is working towards a bachelor's degree in Business at Northwest Florida State College.  

 

Sherman served in the US Air Force for 20 years as a Shop Chief for Line Delivery Element, Assistant Shop Chief for Small Arms Element, and Bay Chief for Big Bombs Element, to name a few.  In addition, he worked at Twelve Oaks Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation center for 3 years as a Behavior Technician before joining the Bindu team.

 

He has an adept knowledge of military life, both positive and negative, as well as life after retirement and how it relates to family, community interaction and integration.  He is very empathetic and compassionate person, which well serves the challenges that may arise when working with people and different personalities.

He interests include reading, writing, and the performing arts (such as music, theater, acting, etc.).  During his down time, you will find him engaging in activities involving nature.
