"I became interested in Art Therapy in 2001 working as a Primary School Adjustment Counselor and Special Education Assistant with the Hawaii Department of Education, using art-making as a means to communicate and teach children with special needs.
I was impressed with how well the CREATIVE PROCESS worked in reaching these children and the calming effect it had with them. Then, after working with Active Duty Military members, it became clear that
ART THERAPY is NOT JUST FOR KIDS!
Art Therapy serves EVERYONE!"
