"I became interested in Art Therapy in 2001 working as a Primary School Adjustment Counselor and Special Education Assistant with the Hawaii Department of Education, using art-making as a means to communicate and teach children with special needs.

I was impressed with how well the CREATIVE PROCESS worked in reaching these children and the calming effect it had with them. Then, after working with Active-Duty Military members, it became clear that

ART THERAPY is NOT JUST FOR KIDS!

Art Therapy serves EVERYONE!"
