Kellie Brown-Stockdale, PhD

Kellie Brown-Stockdale is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness. She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Norfolk State University and her PhD in the Philosophy of Psychology from Capella University.

Kellie has a rich background working with military service members experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as with couples, families, and survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking. Her integrative approach combines evidence-based therapeutic modalities with mindfulness and somatic awareness to promote healing and resilience.

She incorporates trauma-informed and mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, crisis counseling, and individualized mentoring. Kellie believes that true healing and growth occur within a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients are empowered to rediscover balance and self-awareness.
