Tonya has worked as a Life Skills Coach in the Cataula, GA area since April 2025.  She is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in healthcare support, public health services, education, and customer relations. With a strong background in patient services, administrative support, and program coordination, she has built her career on delivering efficient, compassionate, and detail-oriented service in a variety of settings.

Also serving as a Healthcare Phone Agent, Tonya schedules appointments, assists patients with inquiries, and maintains accurate medical records to support both providers and patients. Her prior roles include serving as a Referral Coordinator and Patient Services Representative, Substitute Teacher, Disease Intervention Supervisor, and Insurance Agent, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to helping others.

Tonya’s career began in community health and human services, where she conducted disease intervention investigations, supervised case work, and provided training to public health professionals. Over time, she expanded her expertise into healthcare administration, education, and customer support, excelling in high-volume, fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, building on her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Alabama. Tonya also holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Fluent in English and Spanish, she brings excellent communication and leadership skills to every role, with proven strengths in quality assurance, case management, and relationship building. Tonya is passionate about supporting patients, empowering communities, and ensuring that each person she works with receives the care, guidance, and respect they deserve.
