Asia Preston, MA

Asia Preston has worked as a Life Skills Coach in Jacksonville, FL since June 2025. She is a compassionate and dedicated professional with extensive experience in behavioral health, family support, and client care. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology at Liberty University, building on her Master of Arts in Business Management and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albertus Magnus College.
With several years of hands-on experience, Asia has worked in a variety of roles that highlight her commitment to supporting individuals and families. As a Family Life Coach at The Bridge Family Center, she provided individual and group counseling, facilitated teletherapy sessions, and guided clients through personal and relational challenges. Her work emphasized communication, resilience, and constructive problem-solving strategies, earning her excellent reviews and long-term client relationships.
Asia also served as an ABI Companion with Project Genesis and a Direct Support Professional with Keystone Human Services, where she provided daily care, emotional support, and skills training to individuals with diverse needs. These roles strengthened her ability to create safe, supportive environments while ensuring compliance with treatment plans, confidentiality requirements, and best practices in healthcare support.
Earlier in her career, Asia developed strong interpersonal and leadership skills in retail and supervisory roles, which built the foundation for her customer service, organizational, and team management abilities. She has also volunteered at Yale Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, where she led group activities, supported patients and families, and assisted with educational and therapeutic programs.
Asia is certified in First Aid and CPR and is skilled in counseling techniques, crisis intervention, case management, treatment planning, and team collaboration. She brings a unique blend of compassion, professionalism, and academic knowledge to her work, with a dedication to helping individuals and families achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
