Cantrea currently serves as a Community Support Specialist in the Orlando, Florida community and has worked with the Bindu Institute since July of 2017.  She earned her Master of Arts in Education from Ashford University and her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and her Associates in Early Childhood Education from Central Texas College. She was the Director/Owner at Child Care Academy and the Director of Department of Defense Children, Youth & Teen Programs.            

 

As a military spouse for over 25 years, Cantrea supported her husband during his Active-Duty military career which compelled her to become more aware and sensitive to the needs of the military community. She is also certified in Trauma Informed Care, CPR & First Aid, and a Florida Director’s Certification. She brings to our veterans, skills in planning and implementation of military community events, organizing, and curriculum design.
