Kimberly Harden, MA, Registered Art Therapist
Kimberly Harden, MA, ATR, has been working with The Bindu Institute since March of 2024 as a virtual Registered Art Therapist. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministerial Studies and a Master of Arts in Art Therapy with emphasis in counseling from Saint Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. Additionally, she also holds a license as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern.
Kim has experience working in two hospital settings. Specifically, she worked at Napa State Hospital for the criminal insane and UC Davis Children’s Hospital. These two settings have provided her with the opportunity to work with all kinds of people and their families providing art therapy and counseling. In addition to working with The Bindu Institute, she is currently working in private practice seeing a variety of people and ages.
Kim’s experience has taught her to be open-minded and adaptable to the art activities she does with her clients. She is confident with creating unique individualized experiences for each warrior and meeting them where they are no matter the disability or limitation.
Kim recently moved to Florida from California. She is an independent artist who does paintings, sculptures, and murals. She loves outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping.
