Laura Klein works as a Community Support Specialist in the Miami, Florida area and has been with The Bindu Institute since January of 2023.  She has a Master of Science in Education with a minor in Technology from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology.  Additionally, she is currently enrolled in a graduate program at South Florida Seminary to obtain a directorship in Spiritual Direction.

She has been a professional educator for over 30 years and has taught elementary school through higher learning institutions.  Simultaneously, she worked in the executive operation role at a charity where they provided in-home educational services and life skills training to people who would otherwise not be able to afford these services.  Her professional experiences have formed a unique skill set that has honed her organizational skills, ability to lead groups and large projects, and exceed expectations and deadlines on the job.  Her experience working with children and adults has provided her with a deep understanding of a range of emotions such as anger, frustration, anxiety, and depression.  Subsequently, it has developed her ability to help others with behaviors associated with these emotions.

Laura is devoted to her husband of 36 years and has two daughters.  She and her husband enjoy refurbishing houses and vehicles and run a property management company together.  She loves going to concerts and musical festivals, especially rock music.  She loves spending time with her adult daughters and doing family activities.

Laura writes, “I am devoted to the care of my Veterans and their well-being.  This is more like a ministry to me than just a job.  I enjoy the work I do immensely.”
