Saudia Wadud, MA, ATR-BC

Saudia is a Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with more than 15 years of experience using the creative process to support healing, growth, and self-expression. She has been with the company since August of 2024.  Additionally, she currently serves as an Art Therapist at Fairwinds Treatment Center in Clearwater, where she provides individual and group art therapy sessions for clients in residential and intensive outpatient programs. Her work focuses on supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges, while also offering clinical supervision for art therapy students entering the field.

In addition to her clinical practice, Saudia is a Teaching Artist with Arts4All Florida. Since 2017, she has conducted art residencies for children with disabilities across schools and the Department of Juvenile Justice system. Her programs have partnered with leading cultural institutions such as the Tampa History Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, Dali Museum, MOSI Tampa, Appleton Museum of Art, USF Contemporary Museum of Art, and Henry Plant Museum, giving students the opportunity to showcase their artwork in professional settings. She also serves as Artist in Residence at Morning Star School, where she works closely with children who have learning disabilities and related challenges.

Saudia holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Hofstra University, a Master of Fine Arts from the Slade School of Art at University College London, and advanced studies in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She began her academic journey at CUNY Hunter College, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree.

Passionate about the power of art to transform lives, Saudia brings a deep commitment to mental health, education, and advocacy for vulnerable and underserved populations. Through her work, she continues to create spaces where creativity and care intersect to inspire healing and connection.
