Sergio currently serves as a Community Support Specialist in the North Port, Florida community and has worked with the Bindu Institute since June of 2020.  He holds a master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with specialized training in Homeland Security. He is a retired Veteran who served in 3 combat tours and received numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal. He completed the Florida Law Enforcement Academy and worked with the Florida Department of Corrections for 10 years.  Currently, he works part time with at-risk youth at an alternative school.                                                                                

 

Sergio is the founder of Comrades4Life; he is a certified Master Life Coach and Peer Recovery Specialist focusing on the veteran community. He feels that active listening is the key element in working with anyone.
